The elegant slim-cut Pokus silk scarf was produced by Soyab Khatri of Real Handicrafts in collaboration with Emlyn Firth. The result is a series of variations of Emlyn’s design, and a modern interpretation of Ajrakh, inspired by tessilating design, and in this instance glitch culture. Ajrakh is an ancient craft combining block printing and dabu (resist) dying on cotton cloth with natural dyes. Each scarf is hand-rolled stitched in Ajrakpur. Read more about it in our story here.

All the India Street Bazaar products will arrive packaged in handmade cotton paper, screen-printed in India. Find out more about the paper making process and the Happy Pen factory’s relationship to Ghandi’s Ashram in Ahmedabad in Charlotte Linton’s story.
